Prepare the surface
Substrate must be sound, clean, and free of dust, laitance, curing agents, oil, and loose material. Repair cracks/voids as specified.

Mask & stage
Protect adjacent finishes. Plan for a uniform film and correct coverage rate.
3.
Apply LEVELCORE PrimeShield
Use brush, roller, or airless spray to achieve the specified film build. Apply multiple coats if required by the data sheet, allowing proper dry time between coats.
4.
Protect & overcoat
Once cured, install approved underlayments, tile adhesives, or floor finishes per manufacturer guidance.
Coverage rates, number of coats, recoat/cure times, and specific compatibility should follow the LEVELCORE PrimeShield Technical Data Sheet (TDS).

What “Negative Hydrostatic Pressure” Means
Moisture can push from the outside of the slab/wall toward the interior. LEVELCORE PrimeShield is formulated to resist that inward pressure when applied on the interior side, helping keep finishes bonded and surfaces dry.

Can I apply PrimeShield by spray?
Yes—LEVELCORE PrimeShield can be applied by airless spray, as well as by brush or roller.
Is it suitable under self‑leveling underlayments or tile?
Yes, PrimeShield is designed as part of interior systems under SLPs and tile. Always confirm primer/adhesive compatibility in the TDS.
Will it stop efflorescence?
PrimeShield helps control efflorescence by blocking moisture movement that carries salts to the surface.
Can I use it outside or leave it exposed?
No. LEVELCORE PrimeShield is for interior use and should be covered by the subsequent system (tile, underlayment, screed, or floor finish).
What about very damp or green concrete?
