REVEAL STONE
LEVELCORE Polished Concrete Topping
A flawless polished‑concrete look—
installed fast, over new or existing floors.
A flawless polished-concrete look – installed fast, over new or existing floors. Levelcore’s polishable concrete topping is a high-performance cementitious overlay poured thin, then mechanically polished to a seamless, high-end finish. It delivers uniform aesthetics without relying on the look or condition of the structural slab – making it ideal for internal commercial and residential spaces
Product Description
A polished concrete topping (also called a polishable overlay) is a specialised cement-based layer installed over a prepared substrate at a controlled thickness. After placement, it is ground, densified, and polished – like a traditional slab – to achieve a durable, low-maintenance architectural finish with consistent colour and sheen.

Key Benefits
Uniform colour and finish across the entire floor (reduced patchwork look).
Covers worn, stained, or patchy concrete without demolition.
Thin build can shorten programs and reduce downtime.
Adds minimal height and weight versus installing a full new slab.
Customisable: matte to high gloss finishes, tinting options, saw-cut detailing, decorative aggregate seeding.
Seamless look across large areas with planned movement joints.
Sustainable renovation approach by building over serviceable substrates.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is a topping as durable as polished concrete?
Both are concrete surfaces finished by mechanical polishing. Performance depends on mix design, thickness, preparation quality, and maintenance program.
Will existing cracks go away?
Toppings can bridge cosmetic defects, but building movement still needs planned joints. Some substrate conditions may reflect; the system is designed to minimise this.
Can I choose the exact shade and sheen?
Yes – natural greys and integral colour options are available, with matte, satin or high-gloss finishes.
Is it suitable for kitchens and cafés?
Yes – when paired with the right guard coat and cleaning regime. For grease/acid exposure, specify an appropriate maintenance plan.
What about underfloor heating?
Compatible – advise the system type so the build-up and expansion strategy can be detailed correctly.
